PETS – MUST BE APPROVED IN WRITING.
(a) Guests are strictly prohibited from bringing onto the Property or the surrounding grounds any pet or animal without the prior written consent of the Host. In the event that the Host consents to the Guest bringing a pet or animal onto the Property, the Guest is fully responsible for any pets or animals which the Guest brings onto the Property, and will cooperate with the Host in taking any reasonable steps to minimise the risk of harm, loss or damage that the pet or animal may cause to the Property or to the Host.
(b) Any damage caused by the animal must be reported to the Host (and may be charged back to you). This includes damage to screens, paint work, carpets, furniture, gardens etc. Additional time that is spent cleaning up after pets will be charged to you accordingly.
(c) Pets must not be left unattended at the Premises & must be taken with you when going out.
(d) Certain Premises may have different rules regarding pets. (eg, inside / outside only). It is the guests responsibility to check for any special ‘pet rules’ located within the property marketing. (e) Pets are not permitted on any furnishings and are not allowed in bedrooms.
(f) You must clean up after your pet. Guests are required to remove all traces of an animal being at the property. This includes (but is not restricted to) any fur/hair (except on floors), food, stains, smells or faeces. You agree that any breakages / damages, extra cleaning or dog odour left at the holiday premises during your stay must be paid for and may be deducted from your security deposit/bond.
(g) You are responsible for supplying your pets bedding, food bowels, toys, etc.
(h) The host can not accept responsibility for the security of pets within the property perimeter regarding the integrity or suitability of fencing & gates.
(i) You agree to treat your dog/s for fleas and ticks prior to your stay at the holiday premises and ensure that your dog’s vaccinations are current.
(j) You will not allow dogs on the holiday premises that are vicious and/or that are excessive barkers and/or that are 'dangerous dogs' as defined in section 5 of the Companion Animals Act 1998.New Paragraph
