This home is a spacious and comfortable retreat, thoughtfully designed for year-round enjoyment. Its open living area is filled with natural light and features a cozy wood fireplace. You'll love the stunning views and sunsets from the full-length verandah.

Accommodations include a master bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom, while two more bedrooms share a family bathroom. A double garage offers convenient parking.

For your comfort, there's ducted heating and cooling, and complimentary WiFi. The property's rear hosts mature gum trees, attracting various bird and wildlife species. Outdoor amenities include a gas barbecue and outdoor furniture. While the property backs onto Tuross Lake waterfront reserve, direct lake access isn't available due to natural terrain.

Bedroom 3: 1x single bed + 1x set of single bunk beds (lower and upper single beds).

Various swimming beaches, the Lavender Bay boat ramp, and Tuross Lake for fishing and boating are all just a short drive away. Down Trafalgar Road, you can explore the Boatshed Cafe and the Picked Octopus Restaurant.

Please note that due to the property's location on a steep block with no fencing, it may not be ideal for families with small children.

Security Deposit

A refundable guest security deposit of $300 is required, held through a pre-authorization on your card. It is placed 12 hours before arrival and released within 48 hours of departure, unless needed to cover damages.

Pets

Pets are NOT permitted @ Chalet on Trafalgar. We have a wide selction of pet friendly properties - please ask us for details. 

Guest Registration and Acceptance of Terms

Upon booking confirmation, you will receive an automated message containing a link to our Guest Registration & Terms Acceptance form. Please complete this form within 24 hours of booking acceptance to avoid cancellation. This form includes reading and accepting the terms and conditions and providing valid photo ID. Feel free to contact us with any queries before booking.

Guest Numbers

The number of guests must not exceed the booking's stated occupancy. The house has a maximum occupancy limit of 7 people, including adults and children. Additional fees may apply for more than 4 guests.

Large Group Bookings and Parties

We do not accept large group bookings, parties, or events without prior written approval. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. Smoking is not allowed inside the property.

What to bring

• Personal Toiletries (Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Razor, etc.)

• Beach Towels

Please Note:

We provide bed linens, pillows, and blankets.

There will be a starter supply of essential items such as toilet paper, handwash, bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, cooking oil, paper towels, cling wrap, and foil.

The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cups, plates, utensils, pots, and pans.

• Booking Fee: There is a booking fee of $55. This fee is non-refundable in the event of guest cancelation. 

• Minimum 7-Night Stay (Peak Season): During peak seasons, a minimum stay of 7 nights is required.

Standard Season:

• Cancellations made prior to 30 days of the scheduled arrival date will be eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date will be eligible for a 50% refund.
• The booking fee is non-refundable.

Peak Season:

• For peak season bookings, including 15th December to 31st of January, cancellations must be made at least 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
• Peak season bookings canceled less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date are non-refundable, unless the booking is successfully rebooked.
• The booking fee is non-refundable.

Rebooking:

If a canceled booking is rebooked for the same dates, the guest may be eligible for a full or partial refund, subject to the property owner's discretion.

We recommend that guests consider purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes in their travel plans.
